Authentic Stories from Diners
Just had lunch here with my family. Probably one of the best meals of our lives. The Signora made you feel like you were having lunch at your grandmother’s house. The food was fresh, homemade, hot, and the flavors were excellent. We can’t wait to go back.
I was looking for local authentic Florence food and came across this place from Google after I visited Pisa. I knew it’s perfect the moment I stepped in - the atmosphere is traditional and home like. It seems like this place is ran by two grannies - one as a waiter and one as a cook. Although I didn’t understand Italian and I don’t think they speak English, we were able to communicate with each other. I ordered the trippa toscana and it was so soft it melts in the mouth. I have had many tripes in my life time but none as soft as this. I also had the pina colada with pistachio sauce. During payment, the granny also said something like “no service charges,” which is pretty rare based on my experience. The grannies are so sweet and it warms my heart. It is definitely the most memorable restaurant in my travel in Italy.
Is a family business runs by mother and dother, a small place (about 8 tables) with tradițional food. You need to be patient and use google translate - the mother takes the orders and don't speaks english. But the food was tasty and they don't charge"coperto".
The food was delicious! Two ladies are running the Osteria and they were fantastic! They showed us the menu on the wall and told us to Google it! Home made fresh Italian food! So authentic!
by far the best meal I had in a long time. Domestic cooking at it's finest. The 2 ladies running the show are really great, the atmosphere is like at your grandma's. All is hand made and fresh. If you are in Pisa don't miss a lunch at Osteria 46.

Everybody knows Pisa's leaning tower, but the Piazza dei Miracoli (Square of Miracles) has plenty of other attractions that have helped it earn the name. The Sinopie Museum gives you the chance to delve into the fresco-making process. And the stunning 'graveyard' has arches, tombs, chapels and a courtyard that give it a reverent air.

See the Leaning Tower of Pisa up close after navigating the lively streets of Pisa. This structure is the bell tower for the nearby Pisa Cathedral. In Piazza dei Miracoli, you can view both the tower and the cathedral. Entering the piazza, first see the Leaning Tower. This area is known as the 'Square of Miracles' for its historical significance. The Leaning Tower, with its initial unstable foundation and later used by the Nazis, continues to stand today despite its tumultuous past. Once you have viewed the marble exterior of the Tower of Pisa and taken some popular "holding up the tower" photos, climb the tilted campanile. At the top, enjoy wide views of the surrounding area.
