What an amazing day! The tower is so iconic and the cathedral next to it is stunning. But book your ticket in advance to go up the tower or you might be waiting a long time.

A direct link to the tickets in viator app not a voucher. Clear indications where to meet with gps location. My worst experience with viator despite years of use and dozens of trips.

Swift and simple entry. Just needed more guidance as to cloakroom - you cannot take bags inside with you. But - the cloakroom is free!
Tower climb was great - ticket communication could be better.

Tower of Pisa climb was great. Views were terrific. Plenty of stop points for a break to catch your breath if you need them. Comraderi of fellow climbers was fun on my experience. Everything and everyone (staff) at the site was organized and efficient. Only issue was that upon booking, there were no clear instructions on how the timing went and what the rules were. You have to go to the lockers first (free) and store everything you have that doesn't go in your pockets except water and phone/camera. No bags at all, even fanny packs & purses. Also, you don't get your actual ticket until 2 hours or so before your booking time and the time you book for could be changed by them by up to 2 hours, so be prepared to allow some extra wiggle room in your schedule. And check the time they gave you on the ticket when you do receive it. Ours was only delayed 30 minutes and it still worked out fine for us. And having booked times allows you to avoid long line ups (we were less than 5 minutes in line). Overall, the tower climb was well worth the admission fee in my opinion.

We were never contacted by the 3rd party and never sent the code for the tickets, so we had to buy the tickets over again at the venue. Viator said they would refund me but I’m highly disappointed with this whole thing.
