With this tour you will have the opportunity to visit this gorgeous square with an expert guide for 1 hour, then half hour on your own to climb the leaning tower. The Leaning Tower of Pisa is without a doubt the monument that represents not only the city of Pisa in the world, but one of the symbol of Italy all around. Did you know that it's just the cathedral's bell tower? The Cathedral and its Tower, the Baptistery and the Camposanto are all found in the Square of Miracles, one of the most beautiful squares in Italy and the world, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. SHARED TOUR - Sometimes we don't have the minimum number of bookings and the tour can be cancelled up to 24 hrs before LANGUAGE - The tour can be in 2 languages CHILDREN UNDER 8 AND INFANTS ARE NOT ALLOWED INSIDE THE TOWER!!!

- Minimum numbers apply. There is a possibility of cancellation after confirmation (up to 24 hours before the start time) if there are not enough passengers to meet requirements. In the event of this occurring, you will be offered an alternative or full refund
- Minimun numbers apply for the language. If there are not enough passenger asking for the same language the tour could be bilingual
- Please note: the Cathedral in closed on Sunday mornings (it will open at 2pm)
- Admission is free only for disabled visitors with their helper, upon presentation of suitable certification to the cashier.
- For safety reasons, children who will not have turned 8 by the end of this year as well as infants are not permitted to enter.
- Under 18s must be accompanied by an adult. ID may be requested to certify the age.
- Hand bags/bags/luggage must be left at the cloakroom before the visit and picked up at the end of the visit.
- The visit takes about 35 minutes. The climb is on foot and there are 251 steps.
- The visit is not recommended for people with cardiovascular and muscular disorders.
- The floor is uneven and slippery
- The guide will wait at the meeting point not longer than 5', then the tour starts. If you are late you can try to call the guide and reach the group at the entrance of the Leaning Tower.
Cancellation policy
For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.

The guide was fabulous & gave the perfect amount of history without overdoing.
Meet up location easy to find and helpful to have name on sign since very busy. Toured at 1pm which seemed to be an optimal time.

Great tour with some interesting facts which you wouldn’t know without booking a tour. Our guide spoke great English and gave us tips for after the tour. It was handy to have her as she clearly knew the staff and this helped us enter and exist did free rent parts of the site with ease.

Perfect morning in Pisa

This was a wonderful, informative, private tour. Our guide was Eloise and we were her only two participants. We met at the gate of the Piazza dei Miracoli aka Square of Miracles bright and early in the morning. What an extra treat to take in such a historic landmark in the morning sunlight with hardly anyone there. Our photographs were primo and lightly peppered with people. Eloise walked us through the Square, filling our time with historic knowledge and details, not only of the tower but the baptistery, the cathedral, the cemetery and the museum. We made our way around the Square for the full hour. Eloise assisted us in checking in our small bags and gave us our tickets to enter the cathedral before leaving us to climb the tower of Pisa on our own. Grazie mille Eloise for such a wonderful morning! Our tower climb time was 9:30a, we entered, climbed and took our time taking in the breathtaking views at the top. Once finished with the climb, we made our way over to the cathedral using our timed tickets we were given and enjoyed the inside of the cathedral taking in the art, the architecture and its beauty. This was a excellent private tour.
