- Security checks with metal detector are carried out at the entrance of the Leaning Tower on all visitors. Inspections are conducted jointly by security personnel of the monument and employees of the Italian Police / Army
- It is strictly forbidden to carry bags and/or containers of any kind and shape during the visit
- Visiting the tower requires a considerable amount of physical effort. Please consider the fact that the spiral staircase has close to 300 steps. It is strongly recommended that people with heart disorders or individuals suffering from impaired health conditions do not visit the Pisa Tower.

RIP of - avoid booking via this tour operator - holiday ruined

Booked this over four months ago knowing if cancelled I don’t get my money back - didn’t get an email and checked to chase up only to see that they had cancelled it - we have rushed back from Lucca to do this
I booked two trips with this tour operator and both cancelled - surely they should have booked our tickets once they took our money
They have STOLEN our money and we are £48 out of pocket

We did not get to go. Our tour was cancelled the day before we were supposed to go. Our tickets were already confirmed. Very disappointing.

I am very disappointed as the operator, Maria canceled my booking in last minute. The entry tickets was for Saturday and she canceled my booking on Friday. And she said l had to contact Viator directly for the refund. Don’t book with this tour. You can purchase tickets at the Leaning Tower Center directly.
Poor - booked 6 weeks in advance, email the day before to say they couldn’t get tickets.

Very disappointing. This was booked 6 weeks in advance and we received an email the day before to tell us that the operator was unable to secure the booking. This is really poor and kind of defeats the object of booking in advance. Sadly the only 2 experiences we booked through TRIPADVISOR were both cancelled in this was with similar notice. I would recommend people use another booking agent. We had no such issues with GET MY GUIDE who were excellent.
