Garfagnana is the mountain area of Lucca: if you love little villages on the top of the hill and good food… this is definitely a place to visit in Tuscany! I will pick you up at your accomodation with my professional van, and I will drive you through the hills of Tuscany. At every attraction, our driverguide will stop the van trying to offer you an exclusive and comfortable experience. Then, our driverguide will explain you everything he/she knows: it will be like watching the view from the eyes of a local. Barga and Castelnuovo are the main villages of the area, but something we cannot miss is the Devil Bridge (example of the architecture of the medieval age) but also the characteristic lake of “Isola Santa”. One of the most important moment in a tour in Tuscany must be a good meal: let us organize you a special lunch tasting some local specialties, like a farro soup or some good prosciutto. Don’t worry, we have always some surprises for you during our tour!

What a wonderful experience with our great guide Rafaelle. Punctually picked up in a luxury vehicle he provided us with plenty information and his passion and enthusiasm for Lucca and Italy shines through. The three sites visited were so worth while, the route into the mountains picturesque and the special lunch was an absolute highlight of our tour!!! He is a good driver and a wonderful guide. We had a terrific day with Tomasso. The sights were varied and very interesting -from the classic Devils Bridge to the serenity of Isola Santa lake to the quaint village of Barga.. Tomasso was so informative and friendly and made sure that we experienced small details such as the Scottish pub at Barga which had its own version of an aperol spritz. He took us to a local place for a lunch of local produce. He was also a great conversationalist.
