- Please be aware the Cathedral of Pisa is an “operating” church, and it can be closed to visitors for any liturgical reason, even without warning (for the funeral of a Cardinal, for example).
- Children under the age of 9 are not allowed to climb the leaning tower for safety reasons, but they can enjoy other parts of the tour.
- There are 251 steps to climb the tower. There is no lift.
- No big bags or backpacks. No Sleeveless shirts or shorts.

- Individuals wearing sleeveless shirts and shorts or skirts above the knees are not allowed inside the Cathedral.
- Please be advised that the Baptistery will be closed to visitors from the 20th of May to the 14th of June. Guides will do a tour of Camposanto in place of the Baptistery during this period.
- We kindly request that you arrive at the designated meeting point 5 to 10 minutes before the scheduled start time.
- Please be advised that it is not possible to join the tour after it has started.

Great visit to the Tower

Knowledgeable guide. Good to see up front and personal. Should have a main location to meet that everyone can find. Not everyone knew of the statue to meet even though it's right in the middle of the piazza. Needs to be a more common name. Right across the way is a 'Subway' shop. Anyone can find that one.

Roberto was a great guide giving us lots of information about all the buildings and the history of Pisa. He showed us the best spot to take the must have photo from and was happy to take one for each of the group. Roberto made it a very enjoyable tour and we would highly recommend both him and the tour.

They need to clarify the instructions in the reservation confirmation. We were supposed pick up tickets at an address where nobody was meeting us. After calling the contact number and texting the guide, we found out that the guide was waiting for us at another address.
After this initial issue the tour was a great experience.
Our guide was very friendly, provided lots of information about the sites..

I accidentally booked Italian speaking when I needed English speaking. My son & I were the only 2 in the group and our guide did it in English for us. He was kind and very knowledgeable with a bit of wit.

Climbing Pisa is not of the faint of heart from all the steps and from the views. The tour guide was wonderful, smiley and friendly.
